RCV Series - Pneumatically Operated Proportional Control Valves
The GLOBE RCV series provides proportional remote control of the speed and direction of our radial piston air motors. The valve is mounted directly onto the motor and operated through pneumatic pilot ports at both ends. A precision-matched, low-friction spool-and-sleeve assembly provides sensitive and predictable control. When no pilot signal is applied, internal
springs automatically return the spool to its neutral position.
The series ranges from the RCV110 to the RCV610, designed for the RM110 to RM610 respectively. In addition to the standard Equal Power version, a Biased Power option is available. Its asymmetrical spool deliberately restricts the airflow in one selected direction, reducing the
available motor power in that direction. The reduced-power direction can be specified as either CW or CCW. GLOBE PC-series and LC2 pilot controllers can be used to operate the RCV proportionally from a remote position.
Special mounting adapter kits allow RCV valves to be fitted directly onto selected GLOBE vane air motors. This enables sensitive, proportional remote control of these motors as well
