HCV Series - Hand-operated Proportional Control Valves
The GLOBE HCV series provides proportional manual control of the speed and direction of our radial piston air motors. The valve is mounted directly onto the motor and operated using an integrated hand lever. A precision-matched, low-friction spool-and-sleeve assembly provides sensitive and predictable control. When the lever is released, internal springs automatically return the spool to its neutral position.
The series ranges from the HCV110 to the HCV610, designed for the RM110 to RM610 respectively. In addition to the standard Equal Power version, a Biased Power option is available. Its asymmetrical spool deliberately restricts the airflow in one selected direction, reducing the
available motor power in that direction. The reduced-power direction can be specified as either CW or CCW. This is particularly useful in hoisting applications, providing normal power for lifting and reduced power for lowering.
Special mounting adapter kits allow HCV valves to be fitted directly onto selected GLOBE vane air motors. This makes the same sensitive, proportional manual control available across our standard range of vane air motors.
