1623 Stepper motor
The BPS stepper motor series consists of three frame sizes: the BPS 1620, the BPS 1623 and the BPS 2532. All variants operate with three cylinders that are driven by the corresponding valves; these can be controlled via, for example, a PLC. Due to their construction, the stepper motors can rotate clockwise and counterclockwise, making a 3° step per switching cycle. Smaller steps can of course be achieved with a reduction gearbox.
The stepper motors are suitable for a wide range of applications. Not only because they are resistant to dust, contamination and strong magnetic fields, but also because they can be used in temperatures from -25 to +70°C. They offer high accuracy of ±9 arcminutes, independent of the number of steps. The torque starts at 3.3 Nm for the smallest model, and the largest version reaches 10 Nm. These features make the motors suitable for rotary or linear drives (using a hollow shaft), machine adjustment, positioning and precise dosing.
