Pneumatic brakes

The ATEX certified brakes from the GLOBE program have a compact design and are highly robust. They are spring-applied and air-released, suitable for static applications. Our pneumatic brakes offer braking torques of 1.5 to 2 times the maximum torque of the motor.

Our pneumatic brakes can be combined with our air motors. For example, a vane motor with brake is often used for winches, cranes and positioning systems. All brakes are equipped with a cast iron or steel housing and are available with IEC or NEMA flange connections. This makes them easy to mount on our air motors and gearboxes.
